On the other hand, it can cause poor retention, and unnecessary stress when it’s not. One thing’s for sure, as lash artists we simply can’t live without it. I know as lash artists, you have incredibly busy schedules. I’ve kept this lash glue guide as short and simple as possible. 

1. Store in a dark airtight container with a silica pack.
2. Keep out of light, especially sunlight.
3. Do not store it in the fridge once opened.
4. Do not store with primer.
5. Always write down the date the glue was opened. Unopened glue lasts about 3 months, and opened glue 4 weeks or less.
6. Use a hygrometer to make sure the temperature and humidity in your lash room is right for the glue you have.
7. Keep the temperature and humidity as consistent as possible.
8. Shake well before use. If shaking by hand, shake 2 minutes at the start of the day and 20 seconds before each new glue drop.
9. Refresh your glue drop every 15-20 minutes while applying lashes.
10. Do not shake glue with the cap on. Instead, use the glue pin to shake the glue.
11. Shake side to side, not up and down. Shaking up and down can cause issues with the nozzle.
12. When removing the pin, do not pull the pin straight up in an upward direction. Instead, wiggle it around in circles slowly to remove it.
13. Always wipe the glue nozzle after every glue drop.
14. Point the bottle directly downwards when placing a glue drop. Holding it on an angle can cause a lot of glue to spill or drip down the nozzle.
15. Always remove air from the bottle before putting the pin in, or the lid back on. Slightly "burp" the bottle to get any excess air out. Maintain pressure on the bottle to keep the air out while putting the cap back on. Air causes the glue to go bad faster than it should. Keeping air out will help keep your glue longer.
16. If there are issues with the glue sticking, check the amount of glue. Too much glue may not stick or take a long time to stick and too little glue may not stick as well. Play around until you find the perfect amount. Make sure the lashes have been both washed, primed, and dried thoroughly right before application. Double check the temperature and humidity in your lash studio as they can affect this also.
17. Always dip into the center of the glue drop. Glue at the bottom of the glue drop can be too thick, and glue at the top of the glue drop can be too thin in consistency.
